This series is the most popular of the Sunpentown line. It is a very affordable Sunpentown series and runs very effeciently. We have received great feedback on the noise levels. These units are very aesthetically appealing as well. With slightly new designs in the WA-1230 series and manual controls in the WA-1220M, you should find the 12000 BTU Sunpentown air conditioners a good fit for an environment of about 400 square feet.
